Moving to a new server this weekend Moving to a new server this weekendWritten by AbsoluteCrossOn April 10th, 2007 12:05 PM in Community News I'll be moving Neverside to a new server over this weekend. The new server is much more affordable than the current one (current one is $250/mo... new one is $159/mo), and is actually faster and better equipped. This will help me allocate the funds towards better things like the cool contests and giveaways I'm planning to begin soon. Since Neverside's current structure/setup is much more complex than the average site, I expect there might be a bit of downtime during the transition as I work out any bugs that come up... hopefully it will only be a few hours or a day or so at worst. I've done a "test" transition using my local server which went pretty smoothly, but there were still a few rough edges to be careful of. Anyhow, wanted to keep everyone in the know in case there does happen to be any downtime.
